“Corey never gives up on students if they don’t fully grasp particular concepts in the time he has teaching them in the classroom. He always makes himself available for extra help before school, after school, and even during his lunch periods to work with students one-on-one and in small groups highlighting his impressive tutoring background of prescribing individualized academic plans to each of his students where needed. Also he communicates frequently with his students electronically as well as extensive parent contact.” L.S.
“My son has been working with Corey for over 6 months. We are very pleased with his expertise and presentation of HS math, familiarity with NYS testing and flexibility of scheduling to include extra review prior to tests in addition to weekly meetings. He has exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend.” A.F.
“Mr. Toles has been my son's tutor for the past 2 years and he has been wonderful. My son has ADHD and is dyslexic. I was very worried about him taking the regents exams but with Mr. Toles' help he has averaged in the 80s in his class work and 80 on the regents last year and this year. I would highly recommend Mr. Toles as a tutor.” Barbara Scheuer
“My son worked with Corey Toles for three years of middle school and continues to work with him now as needed for reinforcement. Our son's skills were greatly improved with Corey's help and strategic advice. Corey makes math fun. He is not only an outstanding person - incredibly kind, patient and thoughtful - but also a remarkable teacher who reinforces what a student learns in the classroom, empowering the student with the confidence that evolves with a full understanding of the material. I highly and without reservation recommend him as a tutor of all levels of mathematics.” Elizabeth Morris
“He's awesome! He explained the math better than my teachers!” L.F.
“Corey has been so wonderful towards my family in the past two years. I originally was never supposed to take Geometry or Algebra 2 regents, based off of my teacher recommendations. I overrode those recommendations in hopes that I would push myself towards getting an advanced regents diploma. So I took Geometry in my junior year of high school, instead of my sophomore year. In the beginning, I was having a hard time. That is when we decided a tutor was the best option for me. Throughout my junior year, my grades went from 70's to 90's. My senior year I took algebra 2. I only had one shot to take this regents as I was graduating soon after. Corey helped me prepare every step of the way, and in the end I pulled out a great score on the regents. From taking courses I was never recommended for in the first place, to having Corey as a tutor, really benefited me in the end, and now I am graduating with an advanced regents diploma, all thanks to him!” B.H.
